IS IT ALL ABOUT THE BASS?

Meghan Trainer has been boldly claiming that it’s all about the bass for some time now.  According to Miss Trainer, in her own words, she claims there is “No Treble”!  Well we at MADD Talent feel that this charade has gone on long enough.  We will admit, the bass is very important and if you like that kind of thing, it’s a free world, knock yourself out and have all the bass you like.  We at MADD Talent won’t judge you because you prefer the bass.

However, to claim there is no treble is just wrong and in our opinion at MADD Talent, it’s over-the-line treble harassment to say the least.  A MADD Talent reporter recently spoke with Dr. Temperance Brennan, a leading forensic anthropologist with the Jeffersonian Institute in Washington, D.C., to get the truth behind all of these bass accusations.  According to Dr. Brennan, no one knows what came first, the treble or the bass, but in her professional and authoritative opinion, it’s absurd to think it’s all about the bass, and further, it’s impossible to think there is just no treble.

MADD Talent applauds Miss Trainer and wants to ensure that she gets all the credit she rightfully deserves for bringing Booty back.  More importantly, we agree with her mother.  No one should be overly concerned about their size, but at the same time, we want to make sure that the men that don’t prefer to hold a little more booty at night are not forgotten.   While it’s fine that Miss Trainer is no size 2, until she brought it up, few people were actually concerned about what size she was.

Yes, we at MADD Talent have heard the water cooler talk.  We know there are some who were questioning her size.  Fair enough, but we at MADD Talent would never stoop to such a low level as to question the size of Miss Trainer’s booty.  The size of Miss Trainer’s booty is her own business and we at MADD Talent respect people’s booty size choice without question.  But at the same time, we will not stand by while the people that may or may not be getting a little Photoshop work done are being harassed.

This is what happens.  First it’s something that seems small so people will just accept it, like the bass and whether or not it’s all about the bass.  If we, as a society, allow this kind of thinking to just go un-checked, those poor stick figure silicone Barbie dolls that marketing professionals pushed on all of us as kids may be forgotten.  MADD Talent is committed to not sitting back and doing nothing while the societal fabric that was sown by the likes of Gisele Bündchen, Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford, Heidi Klum, Claudia Schiffer, Elle Macpherson, Christie Brinkley and many others are just thrown away like they don’t matter to us anymore.

One would think that Miss Trainer, a music professional, would appreciate the contribution that these stick figured silicone Barbie dolls has played in the music industry.  Miss Trainer obviously is not old enough to remember the 80’s and all the MTV music videos that featured these stick figured silicone Barbie dolls that she coarsely refers to, but many of us do remember and whole heartedly appreciate the contribution these super models had on the music industry and the hard work they made look so easy.  In closing, we at MADD Talent would just like to say, “It’s not all about the bass!  There just has to be room for some treble and if we allow this kind of thinking, what will she say next, “I’m a liar simply because my lips are moving”.
